Used Genuine Mercedes-Benz Ignition control unit — A2139000736

Supplier of genuine new and used Mercedes-Benz & AMG spare parts from the UAE, supplying and shipping to every country in the world.

This ignition control unit is a used genuine Mercedes-Benz part in excellent condition, removed from a Mercedes-Benz test-drive car (ATC). A2139000736 is the electronic ignition switch module that recognises the key and switches the ignition on. This module is linked to the car's anti-theft system, so a used unit has to be adapted to your car by a specialist workshop. Send a photo of the label of your current module together with your VIN when you ask. Typical symptoms of a failing module are a key that is not recognised or an ignition that does not switch on.

Frequently asked questions

Can I fit a used ignition module myself?

It has to be adapted to your car and keys with Mercedes diagnostic equipment, so plan the fitting with a specialist workshop.

Do I need my keys for the adaptation?

Yes. The workshop needs all the car keys to adapt the module.

Will this ignition control unit fit my car?

Fitment depends on your car: send your VIN or the number on your old part and we confirm the fit before you order.

If this part is no longer available when you ask, message us and we will suggest an alternative where we can.
